We're a small technology company. We build a focused number of products, each one its own thing, each one owned end to end. We work with industries that have not been well served by software. The ones the rest of tech tends to forget.
What we believe
Five principles for software that works.
Software should be singular.
A singular product does one job for one audience. It is small, opinionated about what it doesn’t do, and refuses to be a platform. We think this is what good software is, and what the industries we build for have been waiting for.
Industries that build the world deserve better software.
Tax. Real estate. Public-interest data. Small-business operations. These are not glamorous to build for, which is why most of them are stuck with bad software. We work where attention hasn’t been paid.
We own everything we ship.
No outsourcing. No white-labeling. Every Quasar product is designed, built, operated, and supported by us. The team that ships it is the team that uses it on a customer call.
Craft is non-negotiable.
Design and engineering both. We invest in the typography, the spacing, the latency, the empty states. None of these are details. They are what separates software you tolerate from software you respect.
The right product is small.
We resist the natural pressure to add features, expand scope, eat adjacent markets. The right move for most software is to do less, better. We keep the ones that find their audience, and start over on the ones that don’t.
